A dirt road running through green fields towards a house on a hill, with trees and a cloudy sky overhead.

It was love at first sight when the car veered off the paved road and rolled onto the gravel path. There lay a beautiful sandy-colored house on a small rise. I had to stop the car and check the map, but yes - there, nestled between the forest and the meadow, was indeed a charming house that someone wants to sell, with that typical early 20th-century Bohuslän architectural style from the Swedish west coast. The rest is history that you can experience if you continue on the website.

As for myself, my name is Jan-Erik Lustig, and I work as a TV producer and director. I've produced various cooking series for many channels in Scandinavia and beyond. The most internationally renowned cooking series, "New Scandinavian Cooking," with viewers on all continents, has been an adventure to produce.

During my many travels across the Nordic region and faraway places, I've picked up countless cooking tips from my fantastic presenters and, of course, from my mom!

Gardening, interior design, and renovation have also always been a part of me, so taking on a similar project has for a long time been my dream. I have Pedro Barros to help me; he's an engineer and always has an open eye and a helping hand. It's fortunate that we make such an efficient team; otherwise, we wouldn't have accomplished so much. Not to forget Alvin the dog, he tries to trim us every day.
