Jugend Style Wallpaper

Around the turn of the 20th century, the Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau movements emerged, featuring organic patterns characterized by large, winding plant stems and flowers. Green hues became fashionable, often accompanied by touches of yellow.

In contrast to the somewhat heavier and darker wallpapers used in dining rooms, the walls of parlors or living rooms were often adorned with lighter wallpapers, preferably with elements of gold incorporated. This choice aimed to create a more elegant and inviting ambiance in the parlor, where people would gather for socializing and relaxation.
